Corlico LLC, the developers ofthe Coastal Village development on the east side of Three Oaks
Parkway just north of Estero Parkway are building 14 more three story student residences on a 20 acre
parcel they own south of the existing residences on the east side of
Three Oaks Parkway north of Estero Parkway.
This
phase of the development will contain 164 units with each unit housing
four students for a total of 656 students. The existing buildings in
Coastal Village contain 200 units housing 800 students. Thus upon
completion in time for FGCU’s 2012 fall semester Coastal Village will
house 1,456 FGCU students.
The
developer understands that LeeTran will soon be providing a bus stop
adjacent to Coastal Village that will facilitate students getting back
and forth to the FGCU campus using public transit.
Location: the east side of Three Oaks Parkway just north of Estero
Parkway.
Number of Units: When the remaining four buildings are completed in
the near future Coastal Village will contain 200 housing units for 800 students.
Type of Units: off-campus apartment complex for FGCU students. Phase
one, which contains eight buildings, was completed in August 2004.
