The meeting
was called to order by Bob Melzer at 5:00 PM.
Approval of
Meeting Minutes:
A motion was
made by Mr. Simons to approve the December 9th minutes as circulated
to the Committee in advance of the meeting.
The motion, seconded by Mr. O’Donnell was approved unanimously.

Plans were
submitted to remove one 20-foot light pole and replace it with six decorative
14-foot light poles, four light poles to be located at the entryway and two
light poles to be located inside the property at the clubhouse.
The light pole illumination output consists of 100-watts each.
Comments:

Appreciate the detailed plans showing the light pole locations.
Conclusions:
A motion was
made by Mr. O’Donnell to approve the plans for Spring Run main entry lighting
improvements as submitted. The
motion seconded by Ms. Cohen was approved unanimously.
Old
Business:
Mr. Lienesch
presented an update on the Bonita Community Health Center Sign.
The process of enforcement of the signage guidelines will need to start
over due to changes in the health center staffing and EDRC volunteer changes.
The illumination of the sign has been shut off in the interim.
New
Business:
Mr. Lienesch
introduced Brian Farrar, a new volunteer to the EDRC. Brian is a licensed
general contractor who was trained as a civil engineer.
The organizations he’s been associated with since arriving in SW FL in
1989 include FDOT, Brundage, Banks Engineering, Bonita Bay and the Ronto Group.
He’s been working as a private consultant for 18 months.
Brian lives in Fountain Lakes and will be a welcome addition to the
committee.

no further business to come before the committee, the meeting was adjourned at
5:45 PM.
