Comments/Suggestions: Architectural improvement over last presentation satisfied the committee Requested taller plants (could be accent palm group or large shrub/small tree) on blank wall panels on exposure facing Corkscrew Road, Applicant agreed to revising landscape plan Hampton InnFee: Not Received Presentation by: Michael Bou-Sliman, Hampton Inn Comments/Suggestions: Front façade did not meet intent of Estero communities requested Mediterranean architecture; asked architect to forward several simple sketches to committee members (via email) for review/comment prior to next month’s meeting Horizontal roofline at top of building a significant problem, It needs additional design elements to break up horizontal form of roof Coconut PointFee: Paid Presentation by: Theresa Artuso, Hole Montes, Inc. Comments/Suggestions: Appreciated the common-sense approach of moving some of lake-buffer plantings to rear of lake, which allows for water views from U. Comments/Suggestions: Committee thanks Wildcat Run for presentation of interior community project Cypress Shadows Maintenance Building BufferFee: Paid Presentation by: Conceptus, Inc. Comments/Suggestions: Committee requested that building and roof be painted forest greenLarger-size plant material is noted on plan itself, but not clear on plant listOther buffer areas to be reviewed as planning is finalized Fee: None Required Presentation by: Ron Dillon, Oakbrook, Inc. Comments/Suggestions: No Development Orders were discussed Continuing updates as project continues on quarterly basis Old Business Navona at the Colony—Committee suggested the residence hire appropriate professional to provide design concepts for their design workshop or ask individuals for a volunteer effort. Designs should illustrate what residents would support for submittal to WCI for review and comment. Committee feels WCI has made some enhancements to the parking garage design from the sketches provided by Erickson Architects. It is unclear how WCI plans to provide planting areas, drainage and irrigation to plants shown atop the garage structure.
