Estero Cultural Arts Council Receive Generous Donation
Estero
Estero is fast becoming the new cultural arts center in southwest Florida and
to help expand this new emerging character, Jim and Debbi Wallace generously
presented the Greater Estero Cultural Arts Council, Inc. (Arts Estero) with a
check for $5,000. The donation will help to carry out the mission of Arts
Estero, to promote and raise awareness of the arts in greater Estero.
“Jim and Debbi Wallace, and the wonderful folks at Rapallo, are true art
lovers and visionaries who dovetail perfectly with Arts Estero. We both support
and promote awareness of the arts enriching the lives of everyone in Estero. We
are very appreciative and thankful for their generosity”, says Fran Wagner, VP
of Arts Estero.
Jim Wallace, founder & CEO of the Rapallo community at Coconut Point, is
currently developing The Art District at Rapallo. Exciting plans include a 480
seat performing arts center, an amphitheater, galleries, restaurants and shops.
Debbi Wallace, Executive Director of The Art District at Rapallo overseeing the
Performing Arts Center and the Village Gallery, stated: “Great communities are
judged by their culture and their charity, not by their bricks and mortar”.
“The collaboration makes sense’ said Jim Wallace. The goals of the Art
District at Rapallo and Arts Estero are consistent with our mission of creating
a sense of community within the Art District through the infusion of culture and
the arts in a people-oriented neighborhood”.
The Greater Estero Cultural Arts Council, Inc. promotes, raises awareness of,
and fosters interest in the arts by advocating the growth of our varied artistic
community. |
